EXCITING NEWS

MSAB awarded Shapiro & Smith an
Arts Tour Minnesota grant.

We can't wait to hit the road taking our works to greater Minnesota. We're excited for our residency in Winona at St. Mary's University for Page Theater's 30th anniversary season.

Tofte Lake Center  will host Shapiro & Smith Dance for the third summer in a row where we will dig deep into our new works for our 2017 season.

Join us on May 7, 2016 at the The Derby Day Affair when we perform "Bolero" and "Ferdouganal" as part of Polo for Philanthropy's fundraiser for Faith's Lodge at Nicollet Island Pavilion. Celebrate the pageantry of the 142nd Kentucky Derby while helping raise funds for a Minnesota organization that supports parents and families of children facing death or medically complex conditions.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AT THE COWLES CENTER

We premiered "HANDS" to great audiences at the Cowles and we're so grateful for your support. This season also marks our second collaboration bringing together the Women's Club of Minneapolis with the Tubman Center to bring our performance and movement workshops to a new group of women who might find healing, self-reflection, and camaraderie through the art of dance.
